Who am I:
I’m J.A. Evans, and I write speculative fiction that doesn’t behave.
If you're into weird, speculative stories that are more about what it means to be human than how the warp drive works (worm holes are a cleaner solution anyway), you’re in the right place.
What do I write:
My stories drift between science fiction, horror, and the strange in-between.
I’m less interested in space battles or traditional tropes, but fascinated by freedom, power, trauma, and the messiness of identity.
Think Bradbury meets Le Guin, or Asimov staring into the void.
Work In Progres
Right now, I’m working on a novel called Caged Birds, a philosophical space drama about four people grappling with power and freedom in a fractured universe.
